You may notice that some projects have a subdomain like dev.mirror.xyz.
Currently, the Mirror core team provides selected projects and committed web3 creators with a formal subdomain. Note that this does not provide access to additional features. All Mirror functionality is available to all users.
If you believe your project requires a formal subdomain, feel free to send the information of your project via support.mirror.xyz. In the email, please include your Mirror profile (e.g. mirror.xyz/0x1234), links to your project website, previous example work, and an overview of your publishing and community building strategy.
If you've received a $WRITE token, you can go to mirror.xyz/join, "Burn" your $WRITE, and confirm the transaction.
NOTE: This process may take some time, as provision of the $WRITE token is being allocated on a case by case basis as other product work is currently prioritised. In the future, the Mirror core team plans to hand over this selection process to the Mirror DAO so it's a fully community-led process.
